  1. Oh my god, I can't believe I actually found another person who understands me! I got million questions about my personal life and it's too hard for others to make me understand… It doesn't mean I'm insecure. I'm not waiting to you to do the same as me, so let me wait in peace

  2. I gave my virginity away as a teenager because I simply thought I was supposed to by that time. No one told me the power of waiting and how it can impact me. I wish I would have. I tell young girls to hold onto it.

  3. Yvonne, I waited until I found the one and married him. People told me lots of things ("What if you don't like how he makes love to you?", "Poor you, the wedding night will be painful" and things like that). I can tell you, while I appreciate their concern on my well-being, they needed not worry. My wedding night was fabulous. We were discovering a whole new world with my husband.
Of course I have issues in my life, like you said. He has them too. But we both help each other. He is my best friend and I am his. I was 30 when I got married, he was 27. We both waited for our one and it was totally worth it :3 And I wish for you them same. I wish for you the love you deserve and the happiness that comes with it <3
Edit: I loved how you talked about someone making you their priority. You will feel the difference ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. AS A DEAR FRIEND OF YVONNE and first hand knowledge of all she explained, I so appreciate the platform of TEDx this message was shared on. The "Worth The Wait Revolution" is still alive and well and it was awesome to hear memories of our past. Thank you world for receiving Yvonne and all she has to offer on stage and off. Take heed, God is doing GREAT THINGS elevating His people, and Yvonne is one of God's Main Squeeze! ๐Ÿ™‚ Continue to follow her…
